One of the best camps in the Governors Camp Collection is this one. Private Camp is perfect for small groups, but it can also be booked by one person. With high-end tents set up on an open area with a view of the river, you will feel very private and alone.
Aside from exciting game drives and walking tours led by trained and qualified guides, you can relax in the shade at Governors Private Camp. Animals and birds like Trogons, Turacos, and Hornbills are drawn to the river, and there are lots of them in the trees nearby.
This camp is known for giving each child individual care and service. The camp boss and host will take care of all your needs and answer any questions you have. You will never go thirsty or hungry because the food at the camp is so tasty and all drinks are free, except for champagne.

Crystal glasses and fine bone plates are used for meals, and the executive chef makes custom menus for each guest. There is a spa tent where you can get massages, facials, and manicures.
The bar and eating area are open and have a view of the Mara River.
In the bush, meals are only served when asked for.

Each one is built on a wooden base and has a long veranda with a bathroom right next to it. The furniture is all made by hand.

How to Get to Governors Private Camp in Masai Mara, Kenya
By Air
Two times a day, 45-minute flights are planned from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Musiara Airstrip in the Masai Mara. Governors Aviation is one of the airlines that run these flights. A Land Rover takes 15 minutes to get from Musiara to Governors Private Camp. This airstrip can also be used by private charter planes from anywhere in Kenya. It can handle all kinds of weather.

By Road
Governors Private Camp is easy to get to by car from Nairobi. The trip could take 6 hours, based on how the roads are.

From this safari lodge, you can watch hippos, crocodiles, and elephants in the river. On game drives and walks, you can also see big cats, hyenas, and lots of grasslands game. There is a lot of wildlife in the Masai Mara, but during migration season, a lot of it comes together on the fields, and predators are out in force. From July to October, you can see this amazing event from Governors Private Camp: a huge group of wildebeest and zebra cross the fields and the Mara River.
Custom open 4×4 safari vehicles are driven by hand-picked driver guides in the morning and evening game runs. All of the guides have a lot of experience and know this area very well. A trained naturalist leads walking safaris, and a Maasai scout goes with them. You can walk in a private concession and learn about nature, plants, and local stories while you look for animals.
