Experience a wildlife migration safari
This classic tour will give you a taste of Africa. With fields that go on forever and are full of different kinds of wildlife. The sounds of nature as the sun goes down and the shades get longer. This safari is the one that makes you fall in love with Africa for no apparent reason. It has unexpected joys and nostalgic explorer-style camps.
Day 1: Grumeti Conservancy, Tanzania
You will fly from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Grumeti Conservancy on this Majestic Wildlife Migration Safari. When you arrive, you will be met and taken to your luxury camp. Set yourself down for the next three nights and take it easy. Wildlife in Africa is amazing, and you can get up close and personal with some of it on an afternoon game drive with a trained guide.
Day 2 – 3: Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
Visit the Grumeti Conservancy for two full days. You can expect to see many kinds of animals there, such as cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, and giraffes. Early morning game drives are a great way to see big cats on the hunt. Leave as the sun starts to rise. Or, stay up a little later, go for a drive after breakfast, and watch the deer go about their daily business of looking for food and staying out of the way of animals that want to eat them.
In the afternoon, after tea, go on a game drive early in the evening. You can watch as some animals in the bush go to sleep for the night and others wake up in the morning.
As you eat your bush breakfast under a tree in the shade, you can watch big groups of animals. At night, around the campfire, under a blanket of stars, talk about what you saw that day.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Today is your day to see more of the Serengeti. You’ll be taking a flight to the northern part of the park. This camp is in a great spot to see wildebeest crossing rivers during their yearly migration, which usually happens from May to October. There are, however, groups of large plains animals all year long. These include all the big cats, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and antelope.
Day 5 – 7: Mara River
Spend the next three full days traveling through the Serengeti with trained guides who can show you and tell you about the different animals and how they act around each other. Look for big and small animals that live in the Serengeti on the fields.
During afternoon game drives, you can enjoy a sundowner or any other drink of your choice while watching the sun go down over the fields. Owls will hoot you to sleep, and you’ll wake up to the call of a fish eagle and the smell of fresh coffee. Enjoy the beauty of the African bush and the comfort of the camp.
Day 8: Depart
After breakfast in the early morning, on the way to the airstrip, there is a game drive that ends this amazing wildlife migration adventure. You will take a trip back to Kilimanjaro International Airport from the Serengeti. This is the end of your tour.
