Accommodation at Ol Malo Lodge

Accommodation at Ol Malo Lodge

Ol Malo Lodge is a one-of-a-kind Kenya game lodge with rooms that look out over the Laikipia Plateau and offer a relaxed and luxurious stay.

This Kenya game camp offers a unique and enjoyable experience in a quiet wilderness. The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable.

Cottages

At Ol Malo Lodge, there are one two-bedroom Family Cottage, three one-bedroom guest cottages, and a unique building made from natural rock and old olive wood. The roofs are thatched, and the cottages have big glass windows that face the view.

Each cottage is unique, and each room is designed to give you the most privacy and comfort possible, with large King-size beds, private verandas, and fancy bathrooms that are right next to the rooms. One type of room has the bathroom below it, while another type has the bathroom on the same floor as the room. Here at this Kenya game lodge, you can take a bath and enjoy the view while you rest.

The Ol Malo Lodge

Ol Malo, a place to stay in Kenya, has a sitting area made of olive wood and natural rock. You could almost forget you are in the middle of Africa if you closed the cedar door and sat down on the chairs next to the roaring fire.

You can get to Ol Malo’s dining room by walking across the yard. It is also made of natural rock and olive wood, has a thatched roof, and big windows. It shows what it means to have a “room with a view.”

The swimming pool built right on the edge of a cliff and overflowing with water is one of the most beautiful things about this Kenyan game lodge. The hot African sun heats the pool, which has its own bathroom with a shower and a place to eat.

The food

The theme at Ol Malo Lodge is home cooking, and all food and drinks (except champagne) are included in the price of a stay there in Kenya. You will wake up to hot tea or coffee and homemade cookies brought to your room every morning. Anywhere in the bush, with wild animals, you can have a full English breakfast, not just at Ol Malo Lodge.

Lunch is a buffet that is served by the pool. Fresh meats, salads, home-baked bread, and desserts are all available. Dinner is a delicious three-course meal made with local ingredients. There is a verandah for each guest, where they can eat dinner or meet other guests. Alcohol, wine, beer, and soft drinks are all part of the price at this Kenyan hotel.

You can also get champagne and sparkling wine, but they cost extra and need to be asked for and set up before you arrive. Do you want to try something new? Have a bush breakfast or a bush dinner with candles and the stars. Riverside picnic lunches are also available. All these can be planned on a daily basis and around activities to suit you.

Child Friendly Safari

The Ol Malo Lodge cooks will attempt to provide those favourite meals at a time to suit a family. Parents should let Ol Malo know when they would like their children to be fed and this will be arranged. Children can be entertained whilst parents enjoy a ‘Sundowner’ before putting their children to bed. Nannies can be provided to look after children for short periods of time.
