Borana Lodge Activities

Borana Lodge Activities

Some of the things you can do at Borana Lodge are real and one-of-a-kind Kenya safaris. In the beautiful Borana Conservancy, you can go on walking safaris, game drives, mountain bike safaris, horseback safaris, fish, climb rocks, and more.

On a Kenya tour, guests at Borana Lodge can swim in a sparkling clean pool that is right at eye level while watching elephants walk down a well-worn path to a watering hole. A lot of people like to eat lunch and lay out in the sun on the pool veranda, which has Roman sofas.

This shop is right above the pool. People who come to this shop can buy some of the best African art, as well as jewelry made by local tribesmen, beadwork, and other small items to remember their Kenya trip by.

Several Kenyan artists have made pieces of art that hang on the walls of Borana Lodge. Penny Horsey is one of these artists. She lives on the Ngare Ndare River and lets people stay at her workshop while they are on safari in Kenya.

On your Kenya tour, you might see the Black and White Rhino, the Wild Dog, the Spotted Hyaena, the Striped Hyaena, the Lion, the Leopard, the Cheetah, the Elephant, the Zebra, the Bush Baby, the Vervet Monkey, the Wild Dog, the Warthog, and many types of deer and Buffalo. This should make you want to stay at Borana Lodge even more while you’re on vacation in Kenya.

The garden around Borana Lodge is full of green plants. Almost all of them are native and were picked for their scents, colors, flowers, and to last. Lawns only need water to stay alive; all other things need rain to stay alive.
