Next, remaining in the Mara North Conservancy, it is to the Masai Mara. Bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve, this is a lovely private wilderness region. Day 1: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Laikipia Plateau, Kenya

Your safari starts when you take your flight from Wilson Airport, Nairobi to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Upon arrival at Lewa, you will be greeted and driven on a brief safari to your tent. As you travel, you will pass a vast marsh area, much loved by elephants.

Following a buffet lunch, you might start an afternoon wildlife drive maybe in the shaded riverine regions searching for the black rhinos.

Day 2 & 3: Predators and Prey

Awake to an African dawn, prepared for an early morning wildlife drive. Pack a breakfast and go see the amazing and abundant animals include rhino (black and white), elephants, buffalo, the rare Grevy’s zebra, and local predators. You may have another great game drive in the afternoon with a snow-capped Mount Kenya in the background.

Day 4: Masai Mara, Kenya

For a fly to the Masai Mara, take a game drive en route to the airstrip after breakfast. A guide will greet you upon landing and you will see the plenty of wildlife on the route to the camp. An afternoon game drive will follow your al fresco lunch and settling in. Sit back and appreciate the amazing views, scents, and hues of the African bush.Participate in a safari custom, pause to see an amazing African sunset while holding a gin and tonic.

Day 5 & 6: Topi’s, Lions and Maasai

One of the most calm and amazing ways to see the plains is probably with a hot air balloon safari, which might be added at additional expense. Day 7: Arusha, Tanzania

You will today pass into Tanzania. You will fly back to Wilson Airport and take a connecting aircraft to Kilimanjaro International Airport after a brief game drive to the airstrip. Here you will be greeted and transported to Arusha, where you will spend the night on a functioning coffee farm. A guided coffee tour will let you witness how coffee is cultivated, picked, dried, and processed for your preferred morning pick me up.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Drive briefly to the Arusha Airport after breakfast to catch a tiny plane heading for Manyara Airstrip. From Lake Manyara, you will drive up to the Ngorongoro crater rim. Under a green canopy created by the ancient trees of the indigenous forest, the route is rather picturesque, with twists and turns. Your accommodation will be in an opulent lodge, which is ideal for unwinding and appreciating the exceptional natural beauty of your surroundings.

Energetic people can choose to ride across the large estate grounds (for additional cost). Romantics might choose to enjoy a candlelit bubble bath with sparkling wine and a cheese tray (at additional cost).

Day 9 & 10: Volcanic Craters and Lakes

After an early morning meal, you will descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, departing the resort just as the mist begins to lift and reveal nature’s richness. Enjoy a full day safari experience, which will definitely be a day to remember. Enjoy a picnic lunch served under a canopy of shade trees at a picnic site, surrounded by game and the crater rim beyond. A genuine banquet among the animals.

The next day you may visit Lake Manyara National Park, which boasts a varied range of scenery and animals. Opened recently in 2017, a treetop path runs you on a sky-high journey across the lovely woodland. Walking among the treetops lets you experience nature from a different angle.

Day 11: Serengeti National Park , Tanzania

On your East Africa, Kenya and Tanzania safari today you get the opportunity to see the picturesque road back down from Ngorongoro conservation area, winding your way down to Lake Manyara airport, here you will catch a short flight to the Serengeti. From above, gaze down over the great game filled plains.

A guide will greet you on arrival and lead you to the next camp. Perched on a kopje, this camp offers sweeping views across the Serengeti plains. Over the next two complete days, you will have plenty of time to appreciate the splendor of the Serengeti.

Day 12 & 13 Wildebeest and Open Plains

Should you have forgone the hot air balloon safari in the Mara, it’s strongly advised that you think about completing this optional activity in the Serengeti since it is an absolute must during East African safaris. On the other hand, go out on morning and afternoon game drives under the direction of knowledgeable guides who will assist you in tracking the animals and provide information on African savannahs.

Day 14: Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

After breakfast on the last day of your East Africa Safari Package, you will be transported to the airport to catch a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward travel plans.
