Day 1: Travel to Amboseli
You will be picked up in Nairobi in the morning of the first day of your Classic Amboseli Safari and driven to the Amboseli National Park. The Park is famous for its elephants with big tusks, and Mount Kilimanjaro stands in the background, making for famous tour photos.
You can stay in a classic Kenya bush camp and get great service. You will be able to walk with Maasai warriors to see a real Maasai village in the afternoon, and then you can enjoy a wonderful dinner.
Day 2: Safari in Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll be going on a full-day trek in Amboseli National Park. Take a picnic lunch with you and enjoy the park’s wide views. Take a look at how the elephants in their big family groups move around.
During your trip to Africa, look out for lions hunting their food. To get a big picture of the whole park, go up Observation Hill. In the late afternoon, go back to camp for a well-earned sunset drink and a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Return to Nairobi
On the last morning of your Classic Amboseli Safari, you will have time for one last game drive. During this drive, your guide will explain what happened during the night. You might see the remains of a lion kill or a group of buffalo heading down for a drink early in the morning.
