How to Get There
There is a park called Lake Nakuru in the middle of Kenya, about 150 km (87 miles) northwest of Nairobi in the Rift Valley Province. The car is going to follow the main A104 road. It’s 4 km (2.4 miles) from Nakuru town to the main entry gate. The Nderit Gate is how tourists coming from the Masai Mara will get into Lake Nakuru National Park.
Airport: The Naishi Airstrip is the only way to get to Lake Nakuru National Park.

The weather
The weather in Lake Nakuru National Park is average, but it can get hot and sticky. It doesn’t get as hot as Amboseli or other places in Kenya. March through May and October through December are the two main wet times in the area. Most of the time, it rains short, heavy showers in the early afternoon. Other than that, the weather is usually nice.
